Final reply brief filed for Richards v. Prieto firearm carry case (Ninth Circuit)

San Francisco, CA (October 25, 2011) –

Today, lead attorney Alan Gura, on behalf of Plaintiffs/Appellants Adam Richards, Brett Stewart, Second Amendment Foundation, and Calguns Foundation, filed the final reply brief to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for the case of Richards v. Prieto. This case challenges the discretion of firearm carry licensing authorities as unconstitutional prior restraints. The next milestone will either be the court ordering a summary reveral or scheduling oral arguments.

A copy of the brief may be downloaded at the following link: http://calgunsfoundation.org/resources/downloads/category/1-richards.html
